I like to think of life as a journey. A journey that filled with adventures, struggles, growth, defeat, and victories. Within this journey we call life, each of us are required to make choices, and these choices form steps, that then become actual paths leading us in specific directions, which end in a final destination. We all want to end up in a wonderful destination, but as many of us have discovered, luck is very unpredictable, and the best way to ensure we arrive at our expected destination is to plan for success, and then to stick to that plan.
Remember, choices end in destinations. So, what choices are you making today to get where you want to be? God’s Word tells us that we should not try to make these small, though significant steps on our own, but rather we should seek God’s help and direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”
